Sept. 4

Following a call to 324 Neff Drive regarding a reported theft from a vehicle on Aug. 29, Jason Sobnosky, 31, 6442 Columbiana Road, New Middletown, was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property, identity fraud, attempting to commit identity fraud, and misuse of a credit card. Sobnosky was also charged in a reported theft at 150 Callahan Road of a credit card from a vehicle.

Sept. 8

Following a traffic stop on Shields Road, Donald Huff, 51, 550 Sherwood Ave., Youngstown, was charged with driving while under suspension and was taken into custody on a Mahoning County Court 2 warrant for failure to appear.

Sept. 9

Following a traffic stop on East Main Street, William Tusai, (no listed age), 1422 Myrtle Ave., Ashtabula, was charged with driving while under suspension and was cited for an unsafe vehicle.

A report was taken regarding an attempted breaking and entering at 584 E. Main St.

Sept. 10

Following a traffic stop on North Broad Street, Angela Village, 39, 1618 Wellington Ave., Youngstown, was charged for possession of drugs and driving while under suspension, and was cited for an unsafe vehicle.

Following a traffic stop on North Broad Street, Graeme Baker, 24, 6110 Market St., Boardman, was charged with driving while under failure to reinstate status.

Following a dispatch to 104 Lisbon St. regarding a wanted person, Jabrelle Fant, 20, 1505 Larchmont Ave., Warren, was taken into custody on a Canfield Mayor's Court warrant for failure to appear on misuse of the 9-1-1 system and obstructing official business.

Following a call to a Canterbury Court residence, a 15-year-old Canfield female was charged with drug abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unruly child.

Sept. 11

Following a traffic stop on North Broad Street, Michael Kopsic, 39, 3756 Ayrshire Drive, Youngstown, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired and driving while under suspension, and was cited for a marked lanes violation.

Sept. 12

Following a call to a North Broad Street location regarding a report of a one or two year old child wandering unsupervised, Bradie Frost, 31, 35 Brookpark Drive, Canfield, was charged with child endangering.

Following a call to 88 North Broad St. regarding a report of a disturbance, Matthew Balog, 30, of that address was charged with disorderly intoxication and menacing.

Sept. 13

Following a traffic stop on South Main Street, Troy Achberger, 43, 40192 Ohio 517, Lisbon, was charged with driving while under suspension and was cited for a marked lanes violation.

Following a traffic stop on Boardman-Canfield Road, Penny Collins, 41, 804 W. Pigeon Road, Salem, was charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, driving while under suspension, and was cited for no front plate.

An injured squirrel was dispatched at 304 South Broad St.

Sept. 14

Following a traffic stop on Tippecanoe Road while working with the OVI Task Force, Kristin Ratkowski, 26, 5965 Yorktown Lane, Youngstown, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired, driving while under suspension, drug abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia, and was cited for speeding (56 in a 35 zone).

Following a traffic stop on Fairground Boulevard, Eric Jenkins, 24, 7295 Cool Road, Canfield, was cited for a seatbelt violation.

Following a traffic stop on Fairground Boulevard, David Heginbotham, 29, 1363 Red Tail Hawk Lane, Boardman, was cited for speeding (40 in a 25 zone).

Police also handled the following calls during the period:

1 domestic dispute with no arrests.
