Allyson Jo Ross and John Patrick Martin were married in an outdoor, waterfront ceremony overlooking the New York City harbor this past July 4, 2016.
The ceremony was officiated by Father Noel Clarke of New York. A reception followed at Giando On the Water in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
The bride is the daughter of Barbara and Jack Ross of Canfield, and the groom is the son of Marie and John Martin of Maplecrest, New York.
The bride's sisters, Carolyn Ross and Susan Pannunzio, were the maid and the matron of honor. Vincent Martin, the groom's brother, served as best man.
Bridesmaids were the groom's sister, Gina Martin, and close friends of the bride, Angie Partida, Lauren Lellis and Donna Menafaro.
Groomsmen were Brian Iorlano, Joe Maisonave, Anthony Pennolino, Kevin Russell and James Slattery.
Junior bridesmaids were Gianna Pannunzio, niece of the bride, and Abby Martin, niece of the groom.
Ushers included Joey and Tony Pannunzio, nephews of the bride, and William Martin, nephew of the groom.
The bride graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in English literature. She works for the nonprofit organization, Upwardly Global, as regional director of Development and Strategic Partnerships.
The groom proudly serves as a firefighter for the New York City Fire Department.
The couple make their home in Queens, New York.
