MCCTC art students win at annual show

CANFIELD - The Mahoning County Educational Service Center recently honored an incredible group of talented high school artists and their instructors at the 30th Annual Art Show.

Approximately 90 students, in ninth through 12th grades, from 17 Mahoning Valley school districts in Mahoning, Columbiana and Portage counties were recognized at the Joyce Brooks Center.

More than 100 original art pieces were on display.

A special congratulations went to Purchase Award winner Alexandria Stubbs on her Computer Graphics / Digital Imaging piece called "Reflection of Imperfection." Her piece will be on display in the Mahoning County Educational Service Center building on Palmyra Road in Canfield.

Katelynne McHugh - First place in Drawing and District Award winner

Alexandria Stubbs - First place in Computer Graphics and Purchase Award winner

Megan Kidd - Second place in Computer Graphics
